2020 Local Government Charity Golf Day

Lack Group were proud to be one of the major sponsors of the annual Local Government Charity Golf Day held in Lismore late last year.

Collectively the event was able to raise a massive $12,000 for the Our Kids charity and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.

The Our Kids charity focuses on kids with special medical needs from throughout the Richmond Valley and beyond, enabling them to receive specialist medical care closer to home. 


October's LackSafe Employee of the Month

Korina has been nominated for demonstrating her emergency response protocols whilst assisting two members of the public who had pulled over on the highway after their car battery had caught alight.

Korana’s rapid response to extinguish the fire prevented further damage.

Certificate of Excellence

Lack Group would like to congratulate our Planner David, on being the recipient of one of our clients Certificate of Excellence.

David has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence for “Demonstrating outstanding teamwork in developing TCPs to meet the project’s program requirements. David has spent hours and weekends developing and interfacing with the client, to make sure satisfactory outcomes are achieved and works can be executed.”

The Certificate of Excellence is a prestigious award from our client and is given for demonstrating the behaviours that defines and maintains a strong work culture.

During NAIDOC Week our celebrations are held across Australia to acknowledge the resilience, fruitfulness, and diversity of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

“Always Was, Always Will Be“ recognizes that First Nations people which have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. NAIDOC 2020 invites all Australians to embrace the true history of this country, a history which dates back thousands of generations.


Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A cancer that affects our Grand Mothers, Mother’s, Sisters, & Daughters, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, with 8 people losing their lives to the disease every day.

Together we can all make a difference, your personal health is too important to ignore, get your regular checks & live that life you deserve.

LackSafe Employees of the Month

Bartosz, Alex and Jessica were selected as our LackSafe Employees of the Month for August.

Bartosz and Alex are two of our dedicated Victorian Traffic Controllers who were nominated for supporting an 86 year old non English speaking Frenchman whilst working. Thanks to Bartosz linguistic experience and ability to speak French and Alex’s quick thinking the two managed to help the gentleman get the assistance he required.

Jessica was nominated by a client in Northern New South Wales where she was positioned as the team leader on their project. The client had high praise for Jessica who showed competency, leadership, commitment and diligence throughout her duration as the team leader.

Well done Bartosz, Alex and Jessica. Thanks for your hard work and for upholding the LackSafe way!!

#DaffodilDay is the Cancer Councils most iconic and much-loved fundraising campaign for lifesaving cancer research.

Every 4 minutes another Australian is diagnosed with cancer and the daffodil represents hope for a cancer free future.

In support Lack Group’s Head Office held a morning tea, sharing our yellow.
