Workplace Safety

Workplace Safety – Lack Group

workplace safety

Our culture is “every person going home safe and healthy every day”. This is our commitment to keeping our employees and others safe from harm. Our company has a genuine commitment to workplace safety ensuring our workers return to their families and loved ones in the same shape they presented for work at the start of their day/shift.

At Lack Group, we hold the health and safety of our employees and others that may be effected by what we do in the highest regard. The diversity of our people and the activities we undertake add a level of complexity to a range of hazards and risks confronting our employees.

Our vision is to operate ‘Incident and Injury Free’ wherever we have a presence and to explore every opportunity to create a positive impact towards the health and safety of our employees, our customers, the public and improving environmental sustainability.

The proactive management of health and safety is a fundamental business principle and we are committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for all employees, sub-contractors and visitors.

To achieve this, our people are encouraged to be safety leaders and always put their safety, that of their colleagues, clients workers and others first.

Our Systems

We have an absolute commitment to workplace safety and health, the environment, the satisfaction of our clients and regulatory legislation and in doing so we have adopted and implemented an Integrated Management System aligned with our core values of Professionalism, Commitment, Communication and Safety.

The effective management of Work Health and Safety (WHS) risks are integral to our activities. The requirements for managing Work Health and Safety are included in the Lack Management System, which is fully incorporated with our individual planning and delivery activities.

The relevant components of the Lack Management System are designed to comply with the requirements of AS/NZS4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Standards, which has been independently certified by International Certifications.
