Course Outline
The Traffic Control Combo course is designed to prepare you with the skills and knowledge to work safely and effectively in the traffic management industry. It applies to those who would like to work in live traffic environments in a supervisory or operational role in NSW to set up and pack up a traffic control worksite OR control traffic using a stop/slow bat and portable traffic control devices. Successful participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the seven units of competency listed below and a SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training card.

Overall Course Duration: 3 days
Delivery Method: Blended (with face-to-face and distance components)
Entry Requirements:
- 100 points of ORIGINAL ID including 1 Photo ID on the day (you will not be allowed to commence the Course if you cannot provide acceptable ID documents. No exceptions DOWNLOAD 100 POINTS ID CHECK LIST HERE
- Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number. Go to www.usi.gov.au to register
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Some assessment tasks are completed electronically on our e-learning platform. You will be provided with suitable technology for the Course duration.
- If you are not a confident computer user, please advise our Office before the commencement of your Course. Handwritten assessment alternatives are available.
Evidence Gathering Method:
- Observation during on-the-job or role play/simulation
- Questioning may include self-assessment, verbal answers, written questionnaires, activity modules or interview
• Structured Activities may include Projects, Case studies, presentations, role play, demonstration, progressive tasks
