Courtney Robinson is a specialist women’s coach with over 10 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry as head coach, general manager, and trainer. As a cancer survivor, lymphoma ambassador, online coach, and mum of teens, Courtney has over 20+ years of expertise in building international brands, research and development, and marketing strategy.
With a Master’s in Marketing & Management, Courtney held a 20-year career as a senior marketing executive before switching to become a personal trainer and Specialist Women’s Coach. Building international brands and award-winning advertising campaigns, Courtney led the rebranding for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, was national marketing director for the Sea/Hit FM and Gold/Mix FM radio stations and engineered market-leading consumer campaigns in entertainment, education and real estate.
As General Manager for a leading online fitness program, Courtney secured national magazine exposure cover shoots and was the ghostwriter for several best-selling fitness and recipe books.
After leaning into her copywriting roots, Courtney became a Features Editor for Haven Magazine, a digital and print publication, before becoming a Features Writer for Strong Magazine. While collaborating with leading researchers, experts and allied health professionals in the fitness space, Courtney gained her training qualifications and ditched the suit and laptop for activewear and barbells. Working within Fitness First and Goodlife brands, she quickly grew her client base – many of whom still train with her today.
Hosting sell-out member events at Goodlife, Courtney was also invited to lead professional development seminars for trainers on personal branding, business development, client retention and market differentiation.
In 2021, Courtney was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer – Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. One of only 1200 women in the world with this diagnosis, Courtney immediately underwent invasive surgery and six months of chemotherapy. Unable to work during treatment, she undertook several advanced coaching courses to further her expertise, built an online brand and developed INFERNO: Fit & Fierce in Just 8 Weeks, her women’s only coaching program.
Now in remission from Stage 3 cancer, Courtney combines her corporate and marketing credentials with her specialist training expertise and unique life experience to coach a high-retention portfolio of clients aged 15 to 84 while running her online coaching program and mentoring early-stage fitness professionals.
